Canadian Pet Tick Survey

Fairview Animal Hospital is excited to be involved with the Canadian Pet Tick Survey!

Dr. Katie Clow from the Ontario Veterinary College has invited our clients to part-take in this valuable tick survey. This survey will allow us to learn which areas of our great country are endemic for ticks and the diseases they carry. We welcome our clients to submit ticks to us that they have found on their pets for identification. Knowing the identity and type of tick can provide direction for treatment, prevention and geographical information for our area.

Check out this chart with the different kinds of ticks.
