Although some provincial COVID restrictions have been removed, Fairview Animal Hospital recommends all clients continue to wear masks inside the hospital as a layer of protection from COVID-19. Masks are a proven way to limit the spread of COVID-19 in indoor spaces and helps to keep us all as safe as possible.

Dr. Rodrigo Cedillo Flores

Veterinarian

I am from Mexico City. I have wanted to become a Veterinarian for as long as I can remember. I studied Veterinary Medicine & Animal Husbandry at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (FMVZ-UNAM), and received my Veterinary degree in 2018. I completed externships at Purdue University (2017) and in a private practice in California (2020). I have a special interest in Clinical pathology. I worked in the field for 4 years prior to joining a general practice. I enjoy Feline medicine, Physiology, and Oncology.

I moved to Halifax and joined the Fairview Animal Hospital in October 2021. It has been an incredible experience working here with such a great team.

I have a wonderful cat named Benjamin (Aka. Pichi), who came with me from Mexico. I enjoy a good sense of humour, I have a very social personality, like a Labrador.

A fun fact about me is that I love History & nature, both are my biggest motivation when I decide to visit a place.
