I was born and raised in Halifax N.S and I am currently studying at the SPCA College of Animal Welfare to become a veterinary assistant graduating in 2022. I chose this field of study because I have always had a huge love for animals and a passion for the care and medicine that they require. I am interested in all aspects of veterinary medicine, and I really enjoy looking at cytology under the microscope and helping support doctors and technicians with exams. The thing I love most about my job is that every day is different and being able to help keep animals safe and healthy is so rewarding. I love working at Fairview Animal Hospital because the entire staff is so supportive and educational, and I know that every patient that walks through the door is getting the best possible care that they can receive.

I have been an equestrian for 15 years and in my spare time I enjoy spending time with my two horses, two cats, a skinny pig, and a guinea pig. A fun fact about myself is that I also have my license in cosmetology for hairdressing.
