Dr. Suzette Dibblee

I was born and raised in Halifax. Nova Scotia is a beautiful province and a great place to bring up children and enjoy outdoor life. I love to travel but love to come home even more.

My passion and joy of animals began at the age of 6 when I helped care for a sick puppy. Although school was far from my favourite, I applied myself and was accepted into the only career I could ever imagine-Veterinary medicine. I graduated with a BSc from Dalhousie University and DVM from Atlantic Veterinary College in 1998.

I really enjoy working with exotic animals such as rabbits, rats, guinea pigs and ferrets to name a few. For surgery, I am especially interested in dental care. I truly believe that an animal with a healthy, pain-free mouth will live longer and have a better quality of life.

Fairview Animal Hospital has an amazing, high-quality veterinary team who truly cares for every single animal that comes through our doors. I love working with our team and our clients to make a difference in the lives of their animal companions.

A fun fact about me is that I have three sisters and people are always getting us confused.
