Dr. Charlotte Ramey

I knew I wanted to be a Veterinarian after rescuing a neglected horse and watching her return to health and happiness. I chose veterinary medicine because of my love of science and animals. I love the problem-solving aspect of the job and how varied it can be; in the run of a day, I can extract teeth, do bladder surgery, manage a diabetic, diagnose joint disease and vaccinate a puppy. Plus, at the end of the day, I get to help those who can't speak for themselves. I graduated with a BSc Biology - Dalhousie University C/O 2012; DVM University of Prince Edward Island Atlantic Veterinary College C/O 2015.

I am most interested in Internal Medicine, Diagnostic Imaging and Dentistry. I love our team here at Fairview Animal Hospital. We're incredibly collaborative and everyone (DVMs, RVTs and CRSs) has a voice and we all work together to take care of our patients and clients.

A fun fact about me is that I'm a huge geek - science fiction, anime, cosplay, video games, board games, you name it!
