Dr. Eamon Draper BVSc CertSAS MRCVS
Dr. Draper trained at the University of Liverpool. After graduating he spent several years working in farm and small animal practice throughout the UK. He has been a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons since 1992. During this time he developed his interest in surgery; this lead to him receiving his Certificate in Small Animal Surgery from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, London, in 2001. Since this time he has worked in referral practice in Wimbledon London UK, and also in Worthing West Sussex UK. In 2005 he moved to Halifax and has been in full time referral practice with Halifax Veterinary Hospital Inc. since this time.
Dr. Draper has been trained to perform the Slocum TPLO in 2002 and the Kyon TTA in 2008. He also has an interest in minimally invasive surgery using arthroscopy and also the use of stem cell therapy to help with the management of arthritis and other chronic conditions.
He is a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, the Nova Scotia Veterinary Medical Association and the British Veterinary Orthopaedic Association.
